Giants come back in 2nd half to pick up 21-16 win over St. Louis Catholic

The Jena Giants welcomed an unfamiliar foe to Guy Campbell Memorial Stadium this past Friday. The St. Louis Catholic Saints out of Lake Charles made the long trip up to Jena to take on the Giants.

St. Louis is a class 3A private school that plays in the select brackets of the playoffs which includes all private schools. The Giants have played a couple of teams from the same district as St. Louis as they lost to Westlake two years ago in the first round of the playoffs and last season they beat South Beauregard in the first round.
