Trout Post Office burglary solved

The professional work of detectives with the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a suspect last week in the burglary of the Trout Post Office early last month.

Adam Perritt, 22, of St. Joseph, LA, was booked into the LaSalle Parish Jail last Friday on charges of burglary and criminal damage to property in connection with the October 5 break-in and burglary of the Trout Post Office.

According to LPSO Lead Detective Brant King, deputies and detectives responded to the Trout Post Office on Sunday, October 6, where they found the interior glass door leading to the business office busted and many items, including pieces of mail, laying on the floor.
