Legislators speak at sixth annual event

LaSalle’s legislative delegation were special guests at the sixth annual “A Greater LaSalle” luncheon sponsored each year by the LaSalle Economic Development District (LEDD).

Walter E. Dorroh, Jr., President of LEDD, opened the luncheon with a welcome to the elected officials, business leaders and concerned citizens in attendance at the luncheon, which was held on Wednesday, March 4 in Palmer Hall of Nolley Memorial Methodist Church in Jena.

Following lunch, Dorroh briefly explained the purpose of the annual gathering, noting that it is held to give LaSalle leaders an opportunity to review the economic development, which keeps the wheels of LaSalle Parish rolling.
