Dr. Seuss Day at FES

Jena Mayor LaDawn Edwards reads “Green Eggs and Ham” to Fellowship Elementary first graders last week during the FES annual Dr. Seuss Day. Each year FES and other area schools host a Dr. Seuss Day in honor of the famous author’s birthday, which was on March 2. Students and faculty dress as Dr. Seuss book characters and volunteers such as local government officials, business owners, etc. come in and read Dr. Seuss books to the classes.
