LaSalle native receives

Jena native Holle (Peavy) Dukic has received a prestigious national award for excellence through her work as a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) at the FBI Academy in Virginia.

Dukic is the daughter of Earl and Margaret Peavy of the Eden community and a graduate of Jena High School. She has been employed with the FBI since September 2003.

She was awarded the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence, Excellence in Training and Professional Development, in September 2019 by FBI Director Christopher Wray at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. along with each member of the HIG Training Team.

“The Director’s Award for Excellence is considered to be among the highest honors in the FBI,” Dukic said. “I was thrilled to be recognized alongside my colleagues. The outcome of our team efforts was more than changing curriculum. It was changing organizational culture from the way things had always been done. I am honored to have contributed in this way.”
