Dana Allien Redfern

Dana Allien Redfern, 60, of Alexandria and native of Jena, passed from this life on Sunday morning, May 17, 2020. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was born July 29, 1959 in Jena.

Dana is a 1977 graduate of Jena High School. After moving to Winnfield with her family, she started her own business, Southern Homes Realty. Later she resided in Alexandria where she met her husband and developed her gift as a talented artist.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, at LifePoint Assembly of God Church in Jena with Evelyn Thompson officiating.

Interment followed in the Woodland Memorial Park, east of Jena, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Carraway Allien; and her nephew, Jarred Brian.

Dana is survived by her husband Kenny Redfern; daughter Jessica and her husband Michael Brister; son, Will Fluitt and his wife Ashley; son, Tyler Fluitt; son, Kenny Redfern; daughter, Sara and her husband Chris Waites; 13 grandchildren: Hayden, Ryland, Logan, Cedar, Autumn, Ella, Maggie, Truman, Conner, Carson, Cade, Taylor and Cannon; four sisters: Lisa Allien O’Neal, Lori Allien Brian, Doty Allien Guinn and Amy Allien Springer; three brothers: Kerry Allien, Tommy Allien and Jason Allien; her father Shep Allien; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Michael Brister, Chris Waites, Jason Allien, Tommy Allien, Kerry Allien, Randall Brian and Larry Cobb.
