Two Belah youth will travel to Texas this weekend to battle for a spot in the Word Series of Motocross.

Lincoln Horton, 8, and Noah Carr, 13, will both compete in the Youth South Central Regionals June 26-28 in Conroe, Texas for a chance to head to Tennessee for the World Series in Motocross racing.

“It would mean a lot to get to go there (Tennessee),” said Lincoln, who’s been riding a dirt bike since he was 3 years old. “I’ve only been racing (competitively) for about five months so that would be awesome.”

Lincoln attends Fellowship Elementary School and his parents are Matt and Jennifer Horton.

Noah has been riding since he was 2 years old and started competing two years ago and fell instantly in love.
