LaSalle Tigers cancel final two games

The LaSalle Tigers’ football team had to cancel their final two games of the regular season last week due to a COVID-19 situation and out of precaution for the safety of all players.

The Tigers were set to travel to Logansport last Friday and this Thursday they were to play their final regular season game at home against Montgomery, however, a few positive coronavirus tests in the team had the entire squad go into quarantine.

According to LHSAA rules and guidelines, if someone on the team, either a player or coach, test positive for the coronavirus and has been within six feet of others for more than 15 minutes, all those that were in that proximity must be quarantined for 14 days.
