People work very hard to plant and take care of a home vegetable garden. After doing all of that work, it’s a shame not to harvest vegetables at the proper time. Harvesting at the right stage is essential to getting the best quality vegetables from your garden.

LHS graduate has powerful message

LaSalle High School 1993 graduate Bill Baldridge is a man with a purpose and a message.

“YOU ARE WORTH IT” is the message that Baldridge not only brought to LHS students at a recent assembly but also to hundreds of others across Louisiana over the past three and a half years. Baldridge knows first hand about self-worth after choices he and friends made as young men resulted in losing his legs and the deaths of those friends. In the future, he hopes to reach even more students with his message throughout the state and beyond in the future.
