The Giants came into this week looking to pick up two big district wins at home to keep them in the top 16 of the power rankings. The top 16 teams that go into the playoffs earn a home game for the 1st round of the playoffs.

On Tuesday the Giants would welcome the Marksville Tigers to town. Marksville defeated the Giants in a close game earlier in the season and came in at 2nd place and one game ahead of the Giants in the district standings.
