The Lady Giants started their softball season a couple of weeks ago. The Lady Giants come into the season with some high hopes after their great season last year that saw them go all the way to the semifinal round of the Class 3A state playoffs.

Jena Head Coach Sarah Roark returns a core group of senior leaders in KayeLea Dearmon, Kat Wilson, Cat Bailey, and Tiondria Brown who will look to get back to the playoffs this season.

The Lady Giants have already got off to a good start as they have picked some big wins over Sterlington, Winnfield, Buckeye, and Natchitoches Central. The Lady Giants had a good weekend this past weekend as they picked up three wins at the Grant Tournament. The Lady Giants record is currently 4-2 on the season.
