Before last Wednesday, many of the high school students in LaSalle and Catahoula parishes had very little knowledge of the Central Louisiana Technical College (CLTCC) Rod Brady Campus in Jena; and for that matter, many had never heard of Country Music Television’s (CMT) up and coming star Courtney Cole. But all that changed in a matter of minutes. Approximately 170 students, mostly juniors, from Jena, LaSalle, and Harrisonburg high schools visited the Rod Brady campus March 7 for the CMT Empowering Education event featuring CMT star Cole.
