LaSalle Parish resident Nelda Tarver and Grant Parish artist Ransom Rambo survey his exhibit during his recent Artist Meet & Greet at the LaSalle Parish Library in Jena. A series of Rambo’s African-American portraits were displayed to celebrate Black History Month along with other pieces of his artwork. He was recognized by the Louisiana House of Representatives as a celebrated Louisiana Artist for commemorating black pioneers in Louisiana History.
