Members of the LaSalle Parish School Board along with Superintendent Janet Tullos were in a celebratory mood during the board’s regular May meeting held Monday night of last week. With the Jena Lady Giants and LaSalle Lady Tigers claiming state softball championships in their respective division two days earlier in Sulphur, school officials extended their congratulations to players, coaches and fans.
