JHS Gold Dusters hosted UDA Summer Camp at Jena High School on June 1-4. The girls learned six different dance routines and strengthened pirouettes, second turns, calypsos, leaps, head springs and kip ups in technique class. All together the team earned 34 Superior Blue Ribbons, 2 Red Ribbons, and 20 Drill Down Ribbons. The Gold Dusters will continue to practice over the summer as they prepare for the Jena Giant and Lady Giant athletic season.
