Lesa Michelle Crawford, 51, of Olla, passed from this life on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria, following an extended illness.

She was born March 19, 1970 at Columbia to the union of her parents, Sullivan Phillip Crawford, Sr. and Betty Jean McCormick Crawford.

Lesa enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers, decorating, sewing, crafts, her grandchildren and mischief. To know Lesa was to love her and she will be missed by friends and family alike.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 3, from the sanctuary of Standard Baptist Church with Bro. Kent Nugent and Bro. Phillip Crawford officiating.

Interment followed in the Rosefield Cemetery at Rosefield under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia and Olla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Merle Crawford; and her favorite sister-in-law, Virginia Crawford.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnathan Crawford, known to everyone as “Payroll” and Jacob Crawford and wife Hannah; her daughter, Jennifer Gardner and husband, Avery; her brother, “Big Phil” Phillip Crawford and wife, Margaret; her beloved grandchildren, Hagan Crawford, Sully Gardner, Josephine Gardner, Levi Pruett and Augustus Crawford; her nephew, Little Phil (Ashley); her niece, Tiffany Taylor (Michael); and a host of great-nieces. She had many cousins who were like sisters and brothers.

Pallbearers were Chuck Kelley, Mark Kelley, Jordy Boyett, Juston Boyett, Adrian Crawford and Jordan Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers were Chet Whatley, K. C. Richey, Josh Kelley, Will Walker, Cody Bailes, Joe Temple, Brian Welch and Todd Frizzell.
