Despite the unusually wet year, the Town of Jena continues to make steady improvements to streets thanks in part to a great partnership with the LaSalle Parish Police Jury. The issue of road repairs was one of the main topics of discussion at the Jena Town Council meeting held Monday morning, June 7, where Street Committee Chairman Lester Francis informed the council that even with the constant barrage of rain, improvements continue to be made.
