Dozens of LaSalle Parish children dance during last week’s musical performance by multiaward winning children’s musician and author Johnette Downing from New Orleans as part of the LaSalle Parish Library’s Summer Reading Program in Jena. She also performed that afternoon in Olla. The Friday program was provided in collaboration with McKinney Vento’s Federal Grant.
