The Centennial Cultural Center in Olla held a High Tea on May 23 as a fundraiser for the center. Over a dozen ladies enjoyed tea, hors d’oeuvres and music while dressed in their Sunday best with modern to vintage hats dating back to the 1940s. The hostesses were Hilda Franklin, Karlene Taylor and Trish Cook Taylor, who did a wonderful job with the china and decorations for the event. Everyone enjoyed violinist Sena Beck of Alexandria, who played throughout the tea. CCC Director Donna Lindsey and the Board of Directors would like to extend their appreciation to all who attended the event and therefore supported the center through the fundraiser.
