The Jena Giants have been busy this summer hitting the weight room and conditioning preparing for the 2021 football season. Workouts will intensify throughout July and culminate with extensive practices during August as they get ready for their first test, a matchup with the defending Class 1A State Champions, the Oak Grove Tigers, during the annual Bayou Jamb at ULM August 27. Their schedule will also see them play powerhouses Neville and Tioga. The Jena Times will preview Jena and the LaSalle Tigers next month as the excitement of football returns to the parish.
