Five LaSalle Parish students earned their drone-flying license as part of a summer course offered by Jena High School during the month of June. JHS teacher/coach Ikey Ray was the instructor for the FAA Part 107 Drone Class as students learned everything from operations to laws relating to the unmanned aerial vehicles.
