The 2021 State 4-H Horse show recently concluded July 9, 2021, in Gonzales at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. Representing LaSalle Parish 4-H in the speed events was Emily Poole, Jena High 4-H Club, and her horse Ruby. Poole brought home fourth-place honors in senior goat tying, 9th place finish in the pole bending event, and rounded out the top ten in barrel racing.
