Former LaSalle and Jena head football coach Mack Fowler, right, will be the recipient of the Bayou Jamb Lifetime Achievement Award August 27, at the annual Bayou Jamb football jamboree. He was recognized in 2018 during a âMack Fowler Nightâ at Jena for all of his accomplishments as head coach at both parish high schools. Mack Fowler to get Bayou Jamb Lifetime Achievement Award
The Jena Giants will begin their 2021 football season once again at Bayou Jamb, the largest football jamboree in Central and North Louisiana. But the Giants will not be the sole focus of the event, as longtime LaSalle Parish coach Mack Fowler will receive the Bayou Jamb Lifetime Achievement Award.
