Walter Masters of San Angelo, Texas, bears a 35-pound wooden cross last week alongside Jena Service Center on Highway 84 in Jena. Masters and his wife, Tammie, have traveled the country spreading the Gospel of Christ for over 20 years. Walter walks six to eight miles a day except Sundays carrying the cross and handing out cards that read: Jesus Loves You! and quote Scripture along with a sinner’s prayer.
