I am saddened when I look around our community and see so many businesses having to close temporarily or cut their hours of operation because of lack of help. What has happened to work ethics? Back in the early 1970s when I was just beginning as your editor, finances were in an inflationary time but people worked and most of them took pride in their jobs.
