With the closing of dumpster sites in the parish beginning this Friday, unsightly scenes like this will be eliminated. The LaSalle Police Jury has kept the dumpster sites open for a couple of months after Waste Connections began door-to-door garbage collection on July 1, 2021.

Dumpster sites in parish being closed
The LaSalle Parish Police Jury has announced that beginning this Friday, September 10th, all remaining dumpsters will be removed from the dump sites in the parish. “Once the sites are closed, garbage cannot be discarded at the dump sites as they will be closed to the public,” states Robert ‘June’ Fowler, Jury President.
