LaSalle Parish residents may have noticed some gas stations running out of fuel during the past two weeks as the effects of Hurricane Ida continue to be felt across the state. According to Darrel McCartney, Vice-President of McCartney Oil of Jena, the parish’s largest distributor of fuel, the shortage of fuel in the area during the past three weeks is directly related to Hurricane Ida.
