Lincoln-Union area churches responds to needs after Ida
(Editor’s Note: In his column “A Line of Truth” on September 22, Rev. Randy Ray wrote about the Lincoln-Union area churches responding to needs in south Louisiana following Hurricane Ida. On Sept. 16, he and two other men left Ruston about 3 a.m. to carry a 20-ft. long U-Haul truck loaded with disaster relief supplies to Houma. The trip lasted all day with the crew returning home late that night. The following story appeared in the Ruston Daily Leader and shared with this newspaper.)
