Willie Hamilton, 73, of Chauvin, and a native of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, October 1, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.
Willie was a longtime employee of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Louisiana, and was an avid crafter and spent many days and nights doing what he loved; building wood crafts.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 8, at Magnolia Baptist Church in the Magnolia Community with Rev. Mark Breland officiating.
Interment will follow in the Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hamilton; and parents, Albert Lee and Evelyn Hamilton.
He is survived by his children and step-children, Anthony “Tony” Hamilton (Tawnya), Jeff Hamilton (Tressy), Stephanie Hamilton, John Parton (Amy), Faye McCartney, and Lonny Parton (Sharla); sister, Sybil Hamilton Songy; brother, J.B Hamilton (Kathy); 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
