The staff at the LaSalle Health Unit administered flu vaccine last week during the Drive-thru Flu Clinic at the LaSalle Parish Health Unit in Jena. The event was free with no charge to anyone without insurance and walk-ups were welcome. The Louisiana Department of Health warns that “the flu is scary” and to go “get your flu shot.” For more information, contact the health unit at 318-992-4842.
