Giants dominate Marksville to win 2nd consecutive District 3-3A Championship
Jena’s Demariyon Hammock (11) made one of this season’s most spectacular catches during the District 3-3A championship game last Friday night in Jena, first tipping the ball into the air before catching it while falling down. Jena won the game 38-6 for the district title. They will travel to Winnfield this Friday night for the final regular season game of the year. (See story.)

The Jena Giants welcomed the Marksville Tigers to town this past Friday night. It has almost become tradition that if these two teams meet then there is a lot at stake. This was the case this past Friday night as both teams came into the game unbeaten in district play.
