The LaSalle Parish School System is providing information to help the public learn about the changes in the Louisiana Department of Education’s proposed new Social Studies curriculum. Many in the state, including lawmakers and local school system personnel, are warning that the new proposed curriculum has elements of the controversial Critical Race Theory woven throughout the teachings.
