Many elected officials, administrators, and leaders of LaSalle Parish attended a special meeting last Wednesday at the Jena Band of Choctaw Indians Center in Trout where they learned that efforts to bring high-speed internet to all of the parish are progressing.

LEDD hosts first GUMBO tour stop
The Louisiana Governor’s Office of Broadband Development & Connectivity chose LaSalle Parish last week as their first stop of a state-wide tour promoting the final preparations before the grant application period was opened for millions of dollars in funds to get broadband internet to rural areas.
