A special salute plaque and bench honoring all veterans has been installed at the south entrance of the LaSalle Library in Jena. Members of the Town and Country Garden Club, planned and installed the display in a way of saying ‘Thank You’ to all veterans. The plaque reads, “In Memory and Honor of All Veterans of LaSalle Parish, Past, Present and Future, We Thank You – Town and Country Garden Club 2021.” The display was completed just in time for Veterans Day, and was decorated with several flags last Thursday.
