Giants’ great season comes to an end at Union Parish

Jenaâs Adam Stevens (47) takes on Unionâs four-star runningback Trey Holly (1) during the Giantsâ 22-0 loss last Friday night in Farmerville during the second round of the LHSAA playoffs. The Giants ended the year 10-2 and District 3-3A Champions. (See story.)

The #10 Jena Giants made the trip to Farmerville this past Friday night to take on the #7 Union Parish Farmers in the 2nd round of the class 3A state playoffs. It would be a tough matchup for the Giants as Union Parish was the state runner-up in the previous year and returned their star running back Trey Holly this season.
