LaSalle Parish Library Children’s Librarian Donna Estis reads a Christmas story last week to Fellowship Elementary Pre-Kindergarten students at the new children’s section of the library in downtown Jena. FES Kindergarteners also visited the library along with Nebo Elementary and Jena Elementary’s Pre-K and Kindergarten students and students at LaSalle Head Start. Children across the parish enjoyed a variety of Christmas events, programs and parties this week before students are dismissed for the holidays.
