Six LaSalle Parish high school football players were recently selected to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-State football squads. The All-State teams were announced by the LSWA last week with three members of the LaSalle Tigers and three members of the Jena Giants.

Chosen as Honorable Mention to the Class 1A All-State team from LaSalle were seniors Cole Derr, Wyatt Johnson, and Beau Skinner.
Chosen as Honorable Mention to the Class 3A All-State team from Jena were seniors Jeffrey Neal and Andrew Sanders and junior Jakobe Washington.
LaSalle finished the year with 8 wins and 4 losses and exited the
Class 1A playoffs in the second round.
Jena finished the year with 10 wins and 2 losses and exited the Class 3A playoffs in the second round.
