In a year when COVID-19 continued to dominate headlines as variant after variant waved through the nation, LaSalle Parish persevered and moved forward undeterred by its affects. Although employee shortages continue to plague various businesses, LaSalle continues to maintain the lowest unemployment rate of the entire state, a position it’s held since the pandemic began in 2020.
