Good Pine Middle fifth grader Jackson Scroggs won first place overall in the Elementary Division at the ALAS State 3D archery competition on February 12 at the Louisiana State University-Alexandria (LSUA) campus in Alexandria. He scored a 269 out of 300 and qualified for national competition. This is only Scrogg’s second year in archery. He is the son of Eric Scroggs of Jena and Jessica McDowell of Jena.
