YCAP: Consequences of wrong choices revealed

The LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office and the LaSalle Correctional Center in Urania hosted the Youth Crime Awareness Prevention Program (YCAP) once again and invited eighth grade students in LaSalle Parish to tour the facility and hear testimonies from inmates since 2013. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the program was cancelled the past two years. This year, LPSO invited not only eighth grade students but also ninth and tenth students since they missed attending YCAP their eighth grade year. The program began in 2013.
