The Temple Christian Academy basketball teams held their athletic banquet on March 11 at the fellowship hall of Temple Baptist Church. A meal of gumbo, potato salad, cake and dessert was served and awards were given out to each team for MVP, Most Improved, Sportsmanship and Scholar Athlete. The highlight of the girls’ season was beating Monterey. The boys beat Harrisonburg and had a young team.
