LaSalle Parish continues to maintain the lowest unemployment percentage in the entire state, a title it has held since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. LaSalle’s 2.3% unemployment rate for February 2022 is lower than its 2.6% recorded in January 2022 as it still leads the state with the lowest not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate.
