Almost 700 balloons were released on April 1 by Jena Junior High School students and staff and the family and friends of student Caroline Bradford on the day that would have been her 12th birthday. She tragically died on September 13, 2021, in an automobile accident.

Memorial balloon release held April 1st at JJHS
Almost 700 balloons were released at Jena Junior High School last week in memory of student Caroline Bradford, who tragically died on September 13, 2021, in an automobile accident. Caroline, affectionately known as Sweet Caroline and Care-Bear, was the daughter of Slade and Casie Bradford and Matt Pendas.
