Goodbyes are hard

The Friday before Easter I said goodbye to a good friend. I must admit it was a difficult thing to do. Ron came into my life in 1965. I was an eleven-year-old knotty-head boy living in Calhoun, Louisiana. Ron was 18, had recently enrolled in Northeast Louisiana State College (presently ULM) when he arrived at First Baptist Church, Calhoun as the Minister of Music, and RA (Royal Ambassadors) leader.
