The display was made up of over two dozen pieces of artwork created with different mediums by 11 students in grades 6th to 9th who attended the #thrive Arts workshop in Jena. The Strand Village Project #thrive offers free after-school and summer programs in art, technology and other subjects for youth in 6th to 12th grades. This community development project of LEDD (LaSalle Economic Development District) is funded in part by a Substance and Alcohol Abuse Program Prevention Grant from The Rapides Foundation.
