Carolyn Sue Douglas Keen, 79, of Urania, passed from this life on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Urania. She was born September 15, 1943 in Winnsboro to the union of her parents, Willie and Jennie Douglas.

She was born September 15, 1943 in Winnsboro to the union of her parents, Willie and Jennie Douglas.
Carolyn was known as Aunt Tonie and Maw Maw to her nieces and nephews and many children she had kept throughout the years. She was a member of Urania Pentecostal Church for many years. She was a devoted child of God. She ministered through her prayers to anyone she met. She gave her life to Jesus at the young age of 14 and served Him until her death.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at Urania Pentecostal Church in Urania with Bros. Clay Hutto and Elsie Ray Johnson officiating.
Interment followed in Urania Cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Douglas Harris and Margie Douglas Cruse and two brothers, Jerry Wallace Douglas and Howard Leon Douglas.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Lyndal Keen; one brother, Roger Dale Douglas of Baltimore, Maryland; a host of nieces and nephews and her special friends, Joy Johnson, Sharon Williams and Joy Thomas.
Pallbearers were Buck Borland, Donnie Taylor, Heath Denison, Curtis McNaughton, Peyton Bell and Scott Cruse.
Honorary pallbearers were Randy Douglas and Trey Borland.
In lieu of floral gifts, donations may be made to the Urania Pentecostal Church Building Fund.
