Good Pine Middle school students Dawsen Bird and Madison Conley harvest and weigh potatoes from the school garden. The seed potatoes were planted in February. The students have also planted squash, tomatoes, brussel sprouts, lettuce, and various herbs, as well as a butterfly garden. Everything needed to make the raised bed gardens was supplied through a grant from the Good Food Project/Food Bank of Alexandria.
