It may seem like the November 8 Election Day is a distant date in time, but the reality is the countdown to one of the busiest election cycles for La-Salle Parish has already begun. While qualifying for the November date isn’t until July, the unofficial start of summer (when school is dismissed) usually means individuals are weighing heavy their decision to run for public office as there is just a short period of time before qualifying.
