Christina Wilson of Jena, left, was appointed and administered her oath of office May 18 by 28th Judicial District Judge J. Christopher Peters to serve as a member of the LaSalle Parish Jury Commission. The LaSalle Parish Jury Commission is responsible for maintaining an accurate list of potential jurors of the parish and coordinating the jury venire process to ensure the selection of potential jurors from a fair cross-section of the community. Wilson replaces longtime commission member, Genevieve Long.
