The Town of Jena’s water was selected by the Louisiana Rural Water Association (LRWA) as one of the top three best tasting in the state. Superintendent Ronny Steele informed the Council of the accomplishment at their monthly meeting last week and explained that he submitted a water sample to the LRWA in early May for their annual statewide taste test and was recently informed that the town’s water was in the top three.
